Join us for the Intro to Regenerative Storytelling course, a four-week online program designed by The Centre for GOOD Travel in collaboration with the Tourism CoLab. This self-paced course is an introduction to regenerative storytelling through thought-provoking video lessons led by your hosts, Debbie Clarke and Josie Major, and exercises that allow you to put these learnings into practice.
Through The Centre for GOOD Travel’s Regenerative Storytelling Framework, you’ll explore what stories you are uniquely positioned to share, the potential you have to share meaningful stories through your work, and how these stories can contribute to your wider sphere of influence. Through reflection and practice exercises, you’ll challenge your assumptions and begin to cultivate a regenerative mindset.
This course is an invitation to deepen your understanding of storytelling and its regenerative potential, and will leave you with tools and a framework to develop more meaningful and impactful stories in your work.

Josie Major is from Te Whanganui a Tara/Wellington in New Zealand and is passionate about the potential of a regenerative approach to tourism for contributing to thriving communities and places. She is a trained Regenerative Practitioner and believes in seeking creative and courageous ways of fostering deeper connections to people and place, looking beyond business-as-usual, and embracing our roles as stewards of our planet.

Debbie Clarke is from Morrinsville, New Zealand and brings a background of education, counselling, and developmental process to her work. She founded her own niche tourism business serving LGBTQ+ travellers, is a trained Regenerative Practitioner having completed multiple learning journeys with Regenesis Group, and is now dedicated to developing the capabilities of tourism and travel systems to contribute to the well-being of people, communities, and natural ecosystems.

This is a self-paced course that can be started at any time. It is designed to be completed over four weeks - one module per week - but can be completed in a longer or shorter time period depending on what works best for you.
Q. How is the course run?
Our Community of Practice, known as the 'CoLab Community', is the platform where you will find the course content. We encourage co-learning across the cohort and with other members of the Colab Community, so make sure you introduce yourself and engage in the community.
Q. Are there any live webinars?
No. This course is asynchronous and designed to be completed in your own time. If you’d like to dive deeper and take part in live discussions about Regenerative Storytelling, we invite you to register your interest for Stories of Active Hope - our six week online facilitated programme through the link.
Q. How long do I have access to the course?
After enrolling, you have access to this course for 6 months, or until further notice.
